About the Lab
Under the direction of Randi Streisand, PhD, and Eleanor Mackey, PhD, the Behavioral Diabetes Research Laboratory works to address the unique challenges faced by children, teens and young adults diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. By developing and evaluating innovative interventions, the lab's research aims to empower families, enhance diabetes management and reduce diabetes-related distress. Their goal is to create sustainable, accessible programs that support the well-being of young people and their families with Type 1 Diabetes.
